Jurgen klopp has admitted that he isn’t sure when liverpool will lose mohamed salah to the africa cup of nations. Egypt will be captained by the ivory coast tournament in january, with the tournament beginning on january 13 and the final taking place on february 11.
The pharaohs are in group b with ghana, cape verde, and mozambique, with their first match against the latter taking place on january 14. Salah is set to miss liverpool’s match against afc bournemouth on january 21, though if egypt progresses in the tournament, he could also sit out premier league matches against chelsea, arsenal, and burnley.
If the reds advance to the league cup semi-finals and fa cup fourth round, the forward will most likely miss those games. Salah could be fit to play for liverpool in the fa cup third round trip to arsenal on january 7 if he is required to report for international service.
