The hockey community is deeply saddened by the passing of Bill Hay, an Honoured Member of the Hockey Hall of Fame (HHOF) and former CEO and Chairman of the Board. Hay’s storied career, from his days as an NHL player to his transformative leadership roles at Hockey Canada, the Calgary Flames, and the HHOF, has left an enduring legacy on the sport.
A Storied Playing Career
Bill Hay’s journey in hockey began on the ice, where he enjoyed a successful career in the NHL.
