Liverpool have been boosted by the prospect of their star man Mo Salah making an early return. He was originally scheduled to miss the first two months of the year due to the national team’s commitment to the Africa Cup of Nations, but unfortunately he was injured in the Group B match against Egypt.
Against Ghana, which ended in a 2-2 draw. A medical evaluation identified the injury as a hamstring strain, which was to sideline him for nearly a month. Salah has returned to Merseyside to recover and focus on the rest of Jurgen Klopp’s final season at the club. Egypt crashed out of the AFCONS Round of 16, losing to the Democratic Republic of Congo on penalties.
Salah has now given an update on his recovery via social platform X, sharing a picture of himself running on the pitch in a big boost for Klopp ahead of a busy schedule.
