Jordan mailata is excited to be heading in a new direction with kellen moore. Right tackle jordan mailata knew the answer wasn’t to change after the eagles lost six of their final seven games to close out a once-promising 2023 season. In the aftermath of such a crushing result, mailata said he knew there has to be a finger pointed somewhere, and the eagles pointed one at the quarterback. After his first season on the job, offensive coordinator brian johnson was sacked, and former cowboys and chargers offensive coordinator kellen moore took over.
Mailata hasn’t heard about the changes to the system yet, but he said this week that he is looking forward to a fresh start. Mailata said, I know he’s bringing in a new offense, according to jeff mclane of the philadelphia inquirer. It’s hoped it’s similar to what we’ve been doing, he said. I suppose it is. It kind of looks the same as what i’ve seen from dallas if you look at the film.
It could be a different term. But i’m excited to be heading in a new direction. The eagles will be hoping that the course would be similar to the one they were in during their 10-1 start to the season, because anything else would lead to a lot more finger pointing in philadelphia.
