Leicester City injury update.

Leicester city’s injury report has been updated as enzo maresca takes two more players out of the watford match.

When leicester city face watford on saturday, enzo maresca will be without centre half jannik vestergaard and winger marc albrighton. Vestergaard, who has seized a new opportunity at the king power stadium under maresca this season, was forced off at halftime in the 5-0 victory over stoke city last saturday and was replaced by young ben nelson.

Maresca admits that the hamstring injury isn’t too serious, and that he’s hoping that he’ll get the dane’s help at some point next week when they face sheffield wednesday and then middlesbrough. In the meantime, it provides nelson, conor coady, or the resurgent harry souttar with an opportunity to lay down a marker.

When asked about vestergaard’s chances, maresca replied, “he’s not available.” Jannik, on the other hand, looks quite promising in terms of speed. We’ll see if he’s available for tuesday’s or saturday’s game. With this injury, it’s normal to last three to four weeks, but it wasn’t an important one. We hope to see him back on tuesday or saturday. It was his hamstring.
