Liverpool have been boosted by the transfer of Andre Trindade from Brazilian side Fluminense – just months after missing former Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham. The Blues Academy graduate has been one of the best players in the world this season, putting in some excellent performances for both Real Madrid and England. Bellingham is enjoying a remarkable start to life at the Santiago Bernabeu following his £88m summer move to the Spanish capital from Borussia Dortmund – and has since won the Kopa Trophy, awarded to the world and #039; best under-21 player. 13 goals in 14 games for Los Blancos means Bellingham is La Liga’s top scorer. Liverpool were first linked with Bellingham when the 20-year-old showcased his talent at St Andrew’s.
The Reds were then among the best for his signature in the transfer window of last summer. But Jürgen Kloppand’s side decided not to make an official offer for Bellingham when it became clear that the youngster wanted to move to Madrid.
