Arsenal are gearing up for a massive Premier League clash with Liverpool at the weekend – which could have a major impact on the title race as the two clubs currently sit first and second in the table. Regardless, the Reds are likely to face a setback before kickoff. Ryan Gravenberch was injured in last Sunday’s 0-0 home draw between Liverpool and Manchester United – and his inclusion against Arsenal is now in doubt.
Liverpool also have an extra game to play as they face West Ham United in the quarter-finals of the League Cup on Wednesday 20 December. However, Arsenal are not without their injury problems. The Gunners are currently believed to be without Jurrien Timber, Mohamed Elneny, Fabio Vieira, Jorginho, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Thomas Partey ahead of Saturday night’s clash with Liverpool. Which team will go home full of Christmas spirit?
