MANCHESTER CITY TO WELCOME PLAYERS FROM INJURY.

Manchester City could soon welcome back Ederson and Erling Haaland as they continue to challenge for the Premier League title alongside Liverpool. City have been without Haaland for the last nine matches in all competitions due to the foot injury the Norwegian picked up in December.

Pep Guardiola’s side have strangely seen their form improve in the 23-year-old’s absence, winning eight and drawing one.

Guardiola and side are next in action on January 26 when they face Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup before Premier League matches against Burnley January 31 and Brentford February 5. After Kevin De Bryne made a sensational return from injury in a thrilling 3-2 win over Newcastle United on January 13, Manchester City fans are keen to know the status of their star striker Erling Haaland. The Norwegian, who has been out of action since December 6, was expected to make a comeback against the Magpies but didn’t feature in the squad. A new update on his injury status reveals that he was close to returning before a setback.
