West Ham United are currently in talks to sign Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips.The 28-year-old is expected to leave the Etihad Stadium during the January transfer window after failing to get regular first-team football under manager Pep Guardiola. Phillips is yet to start a Premier League or Champions League game for Man City this season and has started just five of his 31 appearances for the club since joining from Leeds United 18 months ago. The 4,444 England international still has four-and-a-half years left on his national contract, but Guardiola admitted he was trying to see and see; midfielder in his first national team plans. Man City have apparently given Phillips the green light to seek pastures new, with a number of English and foreign clubs interested..
